Walk classification:
Easy = Flat or undulating terrain. A few stiles.
Moderate = Ascents/descents, short and steep or long and gradual, uneven terrain and likely to include stiles.
Difficult = Likely to include challenging ascents and descents, uneven terrain and stiles. Strenuous.
Please do contact the North Yorkshire Walkers if you wish to join us for a walk. The advertised walk leader or walks secretary will be able to answer any queries about the walks which vary in length generally between 5 and 10 miles. We'll be able to reassure and advise you about the nature of the walk so that you can make an informed decision about attending. Families are very welcome to walk with us providing young children are able to cope with the distance and are accompanied by an adult, however, we're sorry, but no dogs are allowed.
